VIDEO: The Incredible Story of Fr. Philip Johnson

image

Some of you may already be familiar with the incredible story of Fr. Philip Johnson of the Diocese of Raleigh, North Carolina. As a Catholic in the neighboring Charlotte diocese I have followed his difficult, yet beautiful, journey through seminary these past several years, leading up to his ordination earlier this month.

The below video was posted by one of Fr. Johnson’s brother priests in Raleigh, Fr. Ian VanHeusen at his excellent website. It is shared here with his permission.

Please keep Fr. Philip Johnson in your prayers, and let us thank God for the gift of his priesthood. Deo gratias!

Great example of “hanging in there.” Does he have an immediate assignment?

  2. I met Fr Johnson about 4-5 years ago at Sacred Heart parish in Dunn, NC. He was regularly in the parish and private prayers of the parishioners. Congratulations Farther!

  3. Father in heaven, I pray that Fr Philip receives more miracles and an abundance of blessings and all Your love, joy, peace and continued healing. And please take away any anxieties he my have. And You carry him in his priestly ministry.
I read about you, Fr Philip in the Catholic Herald , here in Cheshire, U K . How wonderful. How marvellous.
